I'm trying to streamline my work flow as much as possible. Here are my steps:

Record a video, usually about 2 hours long.

Split video into 20 minute segments.

Add a 5 second "Intro" clip to the beginning of each segment.

I'd really like to get this all done in one go if possible.

Is there an AVS product that will do this for me? And if so, what are the steps?

Thanks for your time.

Dear User,

Please try to use the latest version of AVS Video Editor to fulfill all the options you need.

grimlp:
Record a video, usually about 2 hours long

You need the screen capture application within AVS Video Editor to do it.

grimlp:
Split video into 20 minute segments

See this webpage to find the detailed information on how to split your video file.

grimlp:
Add a 5 second "Intro" clip to the beginning of each segment

To do it please switch to Storyboard view , drag and drop the necessary 5 seconds clip onto each segment window. You will need to import the 5 seconds clip to the media library first.

Plese let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards

Thank you Nat. I have a question.

When I go into storyboard, and add each 5 second intro...will the program be able to render this into seperate video files?

What I am looking for is the ability to take 2 hours of raw footage, and end up with 6 20 minute videos, each with the 5 second intro I mentioned.

Will splitting the raw footage into clips create multiple videos after rendering?

Dear User,

What you need to do is split the video file while in Media library by right clicking on them - choose Trim/Multitrim/Detect Scenes, after that place the 5 seconds clip and one of the files created in media library on the timeline - and create video.

After creating the first video proceed to the second one. Unfortuntely for now batch processing is not available in AVS Video Editor.

Should you have any other questions feel free to contact us.

Kind regards
