These questions and comments are for other users of Video Editor, not for support staff. I have been communicating with them.

I bought AVS software after purchasing a new computer in Sept of 2011, when the software I was using continuously crashed in windows 7

Version 6 of Video editor worked pretty well, except for being somewhat slow, but then I upgraded to version 6.2 (my mistake)

6.2 became so slow it is virtually unusable for what I need it for. I have a helmet camera and ride trails on my motorcycle, so a lot of the video is not needed in the DVD/ video files that I build, and this requires a lot of trimming and sometimes muting the video embedded audio and adding MP3 tracks.

I have a Dell XPS 7100 @ 3 Ghz with 6 GB memory and Radeon HD 6450 video card with 1 GB memory

OK, I'm Finally Gettin to the problem, I monitor memory and CPU usage when computer gets slow and while Video Editor is stalled out and taking 5-6 minutes to process a request, the CPU usage of VE sits there using 17% processor time and CPU idle time is 70-75%.

NOW!!! AM I THE ONLY PERSON ON THIS FORUM HAVING THIS PROBLEM?

After reading my own post above, I felt I needed to clarify something.....

I really do like this softwere. It has lots of features, easy to use and reasonably priced.

If they could unlock that "17% CPU time", it would be fantastic.
