Hello Mod's,

Iam using AVS video converter 8.2.1.525 and iam seeing all you guys talking about SRT files in the Subpicture drop-down list of the Input File section.

The only problem is that iam not seeing at all Subpicture drop-down list in the Input File section. I got a few avi and srt files in the same map. Every srt file has the same name as the avi files but stil i wont see anything to add the subs.

What am i doing wrong? I reinstalled my AVSVC from Dutch to English and still doesnt work.

Who can help me?

Never mind..

I see what i did wrong.

I called:

MAXSPEED.avi (avi file)
MAXSPEED.srt (text file)

It should be:

MAXSPEED (avi file without the avi in the name. It does it automaticly)
MAXSPEED.srt (text file)

I saw my problem when i looked at the output file window. It says twice .avi.

Thanx anyway

Hello,

I'm having the same issue when trying to convert an MKV (ripped from Bluray) to AVI or MP4. If I play back the MKV with VLC, I can see the forced subtitles track (as well as many other full subtitles tracks). But when I pull it up the file in AVS converter, there are no "subpictures" at all listed. These subtitles tracks are, of course, internal to the MKV container, not external files.

Dear user,

Sorry for the delay in reply.

Unfortunately for now the subtitles from .mkv files ripped from DVD or Blueray are not supported.

I will pass the suggetion over to our developers.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards

I am getting the same issue but the above solution didn't work for me.

.MTS file selected and the option for subpicture just doesn't appear.

Dear user,

Please specify the origin of the file and if the subtitles can be opened on some other of your PC players.

Thank you for the information.

Kind regards
