Recorded streaming video, let's say 45 mins, as a .wmv file on my pc. Only apx 40 mins is imported, the rest of the file doesn't exist, as far as Editor 6.2 is concerned. Earlier version 4 (on Vista OS) however does not show this restriction and imports the full length. The strange thing is that it doesn't happen with each file (possibly depending on the length), but also a 20 mins may be cut off. OS is Win7, the Temp directory is 716.45 Gb and I am confused...

It looks like the problems were caused during the installation of a number of AVS progs in one go. The good old method of 'uninstall everything' (Support's advice) did the trick and the Editor now works fine. I'll install the rest of the software one by one and very carefully during the coming weeks.

Actually it's not. The symptoms returned within 24 hrs. So, as there seems no cure I realized to be out of options. I Revoed my pc of all AVS and re-installed Editor 4.2.1.188. This implies that I don't have to bother about future versions of this excellent program. Just like me Win7 x64 has no problems with the older AVS software (which's interface is much more to my liking anyway), so I stay a 'happy customer' for years to come. ;-)
