When I try to mute out small parts, eg. speaking of words, in the audio of a clip, it works sometimes and sometimes not. I usually have to reset the envelope, and then at last it works. If I cut a clip in two, the envelope is changed, like eg. fading from 0 to full, but somehow still keeping my mute outs, though I cannot see them anymore.
That glitch is really ont thing that kept me from choosing AVS in the first place as editor amongst many others. But now I have chosen to go withe AVS, because I hope it is a but that will be fixed in a future version.

I run Windows 7, and of course, I have the latest AVS versions installed.

Is it because AVS Video Editor is not so mature yet, that audio cut aways has an on off wsitching sound, like the flick of a switch?
I run Windows 7 and newest update of AVS.

Hello,

Please make sure you use the latest version 6.2
Please provide additional information:
- describe your actions step by step;

- specify the format of the file you are trying to edit and its origin;

- specify to which format you convert and which presets you select;

Best regards.

OK, it may be due to .mov source file from a MAC computer. It seems a .mpg file is working. I'll keep an eye...
