I have been using AVS for quite some time but recently encountered a problem. When you import a media file, you are usually given the option to "trim" the video into smaller scenes. When said file has been edited into smaller scenes, two small squares appear and the "trim" option is replaced with "explore". When you click on the file you will see the edited scenes, which you can then trim again.
However, when I import a new video file now, the trim option is already replaced by the "explore" option, suggesting there are scenes already selected or cut. When clicking on the file, no such scenes appears. This only happens on files I have used on previous projects and not on files that have not been used before. It also only recognised the renamed version of the file (renamed inside the programme) and not the original name of the file used elsewhere on my computer. I have no other projects saved on my computer and have restarted several times. This happened before but eventually, when I kept trying to add the file, it eventually came up with the option to trim instead of explore. Anyone got any suggestions what could be the problem and how to fix it?
