I ripped a blu ray onto my computer. I used Tsmuxer to separate the video and audio, but the audio is only in TrueHD format. My video conversion software does not support TrueHD.

I converted the TrueHD into AAC using AVS audio converter. I combined AAC audio with the AVCHD using Tsumuxer (.m2ts). Now, when I play it in a variety of players it plays fine. However, when I stream the .m2ts directly to my PS3, there is no sound and when I try to open the file in AVS video converter, I get a file format error.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the current version of AVS Video Converter does not support TrueHD codec. Our developers are working on this problem and we we will do our best to include support for this audio codec in future versions of the problem.

If your source video contains more than one audio track, other audio tracks might be encoded with other audio codecs which are supported by AVS Video Converter. However, if all the audio tracks are encoded with TrueHD codec, unfortunately, AVS Video Converter will not be able to convert the audio in such a video.

Best regards.
