I was editing my video project, and everything was fine. I adjusted the speed of a scene, and when it went back to timeline view the preview window went blank and will not allow me to play a preview of my project. It will play previews of the videos in my media library, but nothing from the project timeline.

It also will not allow me to trim or split scenes. And just to be clear, it won't play anything if I switch to storyboard view either. There is no way for me to see what I'm doing in editing the movie now.

It would appear that somehow the whole project got corrupted, because I tried to produce the video and it didn't create anything on the computer.

I guess I just wasted a morning editing on this freaking program only to have it screw me over. Great.

At least Cyberlink Power Director is already ordered and on its way to me. I knew I should have waited until it got here to edit this video.

Reinstall of the software could have helped to resolve the issue. The user had previous version of the software installed.
