I have been using AVS for a while now with hardly any problems it is a great video editor. But just recently when I would start a new project and lets say i import a mp3 my main window (Would normally show something where I can edit the background color) is empty and can't edit the background color or anything at all about the main video. Please take a look at the screen shot I attached that should explain it better.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello,

That is how soundtrack is added in our software. Audio is supposed to be added to video.At first, you should put any color (Media Library>right click>Add Color) to main line and then add your audio file to it.

Yea that's what I'm saying there nothing to right click on to edit.

Do you mean that Colors even dissapeared from the program and nothing happens when you press Add Color? Do you have Backgrounds folder in Media Library?

If not try restoring it deleting Media Library.vec file in C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\AVS4YOU\AVSVideoEditor\Data folder. Please note that the folder Application Data is hidden, you should check "Show hidden files and folders" in My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View.

That's it thanks! I never used the BG folder before. Before when I added music (with nothing else) It added a background automatically. But that does it manually. Thanks!
