I am tring to convert pictures into a move to show christmas pictures. A recent update to the video editor program is causing me a problem when I have the program insert ramdom transitions between the pictures. (most likely the program has the same problem for any transition you insert) The way the program used to work was with a 30 sec size picture duration and adding a 5 sec transition the total time for the video duration remained 30 sec with video now 25 sec and transition 5 sec. The actual results were a 5 sec transition and the video transition was 20 sec. The program deducted 10 sec from the video transition instead of only 5 sec. The video clip becomes 25 sec not the desired 30 sec as was the case in the previous software. Not all indications reflect this change....the timeline shows the reduced total time but checking actual duration does not show error. When you create the dvd it is appearent that the total time is being reduced. I have 300 pictures to do and at 30 sec video every second lost is 5 minutes. I end up lossing 25 mis of video. this makes it very difficult to add music to the timeline as it no longer marries up with the video......I have submitted trouble report with initial on 30 oct. but no recent responces.....have also reinstalled video editor to non avail.
