Title basically says it all. The first movie I converted went flawlessly. Since then I've been unable to replicate those results. Even the same mkv file with the same settings will produce different results each time. It doesn't throw any errors or anything, takes 12+ hours to convert, and the output is anywhere from 30 minutes to just over an hour and 30 mins. The entire movie in question is over two hours.

Everything is set correct, framerates match, aspect is correct, but it won't output a full video. Like I said the first movie I did worked perfectly fine and I haven't changed my method at all, so I'm 99% sure it isn't user error. What is going on here?

*no I am NOT running out of disc space, not even close. :)

Which file do you open from your blu-ray disc to convert it? Do you mark all video tracks when loading blu-ray? Please make sure that you convert blu-ray movie according to the instructions here.

Uh. As the thread title says, I'm going from .MKV format to a blu-ray disc. I am not ripping from blu-ray to anything. What you've linked me to is irrelevant to my issue here.

Could anybody else help me, please?

Please accept my apologies for my inattention.

Please make sure that you have the latest version AVS Video Converter 8.1.2.510 which is available on our website www.avs4you.com. I would recommend you to reinstall the software using the instructions here.

The problem is quite unusual, so if the tip above does not help, please try converting your mkv file to other formats, for example AVI. If conversion to other formats is ok, please specify where do you play resulted blu-ray movie.

Regards.
