I have only started using AVS Video Editor this week, I had a few problems at the start, however this time i'm halfway through making a video, I had to start again the other day but granted, that was half my fault as didnt know how to use software, so didnt mind starting again, however this time, a greyed out pattern has appeared (as attached print screen) I havent saved it for a while and have done alot since then, please say i dont haveto start over!

I was clicking speed of one of the clips when this happened...

any ideas as to how to get it to go away without losing work?

The same screen occurs every time I have to do the the setting of effect, text, images, music ect, but it appears for a short time (2, 3, 4, 5 seconds depending by using CPU and or committed RAM at moment). Some time it remain in those condition (it seams to be sleeping or freezing) until I click on the icon of programs bar. I noticed that kind of behavior since AVS Video Editor6 version.
I do not know if is a bug, but it is very annoying because it lost much time making a project.

To avoid the problem, try disabling this background. For it you should close AVS Video Editor, then run reg file from the attached archive. After registry settings have been successfully changed, run AVS Video Editor.
