Hi,

New to video editing, so go easy on me. I have a bunch of MOV files produced by a Drift X170 helmet camera and I've been trying to edit them using AVS Video Editor (6.0.2.183) on both XP and Win 7.

On importing, video is fine, but there is no audio. If I look at the properties (screenshot attached), there is no info on the audio. If I open the same files in QuickTime, audio plays fine...also if I open in Prism Video File Converter, audio is fine. I have tried 2 different PCs...one wioth XP, other with Win 7 --- same results.

Any suggestions please?

Many Thanks!

Hello,

Seems that the reason for the problem is unsupported audio codec. Could you please attach a screenshot of mov file properties in quick time player (menu Window>Show Movie Inspector)?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.
