1) do this to see the bug (latest version)
- add a video to track and a mp3 track to the timeline
- edit volume of mp3 track so that only the last 3 seconds are fading out
- cut the audio in half results in complete change of the volume settings displayed
- if you undo it gets even worse
- the settings are still correct - but the red volume line displayed is completly fucked up

2) please add a 10 seconds RAM preview
Sometimes it is so hard to adjust video and audio because normal playback / preview is slow, pauses or jumps :-(
A 10 seconds RAM preview (start 5 seconds before marker, end 5 seconds after marker, with real rendering this part of the timeline) would make this much easier!

Thank you!!!

Hello,

We reproduced the bug, I've passed it to our developers. I hope it will be fixed in the next version.

As for the problem on preview, unfortunately, with which files do you work in AVS Video Editor? If HD files, please wait till they will be cached (you can see caching process on the file after dropping it to Timeline). After that preview playback should be smooth.

Regards.

Thank you,

yes I do use HD movies. Caching them takes ages and does not make it much better!
It depends to much on the machine you use - so a RAM preview would allow real smooth previewing on EVERY machine.

Again: please add this feature, can't be that hard, don't you think? :-)

Thanks again.
