Using AVS media player for 1080/60 HD movie, the movie jumps and skips and it is evident that there is a synchonization issue. I've used other players that have a dropdown menu to adjust the speed. I can't find such on the AVS media player. Am I missing something?

Hello,

Could you please attach properties of your file? i.e. bitrate, fps, etc. What is the format and origin of it?

Also, please specify your PC configuration - Operating System, CPU, Ram.

Best regards.

The video was taken with a Panasonic HDC TM700 in its 1080/60 AVCHD. The movie is M2ts format. It was filmed at 28 Mbps.
Does this help? I can play the movie quite well with VLC meial player. MY CPU and Ram are not an issue with VLC.
Thanks.

The AVS web site for Windows XP gives the following requirements:
Intel 1500MHz and 512 MB of Ram. So what is my CPU lacking?

Sorry, but that just minimum system requirements. They are well enough for SD video, but HD video requires more powerfull system - multi-core PC with at least 2gb Ram, better 4 gb, video card which can play HD video.
