I´m trying to cut ut unwanted parts from a recorded TV-show using AVS video Remaker, but only get bad output.
The input file is in .TS container, MPEG2 video, MP2 audio, PAL SD, interlaced.
Tried first default output (AVI, MP2), but the result was very bad, choppy audio.
Tried then to use output MPG, MP2 and then the result is better, but the first second has bad video and audio quality, and the audio is out of sync in the entire file.

Have also tried to cut and merge filmclips recorded with a Sony DSC-WX5: AVCHD files in .MTS container, 1920x1080/50i. I get similar problems, the video output is jerky / bad quality in the beginning of each clip.

Anybody knows how to get good quality output?

I have tried to cut and merge files from a Canon 550D also - h264 .MOV 1920x1080/25p - and these seem to work better.
Can it be that Remaker has problems handling interlaced video?

Hello,

Sorry for the late response.

Seems that it is the issue working with certain files (TS and MTS) and other files.
Could you please attach screenshot of your TS and MTS file properties (fps, bitrate, etc). You can see properties the imported files list of AVS Video ReMaker.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

Time resurrect this thread perhaps..!!!

anyone got an answer about this.. I have version 4.1.3.149 and the output is rubbish compared to the original..

The specs do say AVSRemaker "no need to re-encode the output" then why is there the need to choose a format to output the files ??? only AVI, MP4, Mkv, MOV, FLV is available and not the original.. MTS, m2ts etc..

Dear user,

To avoid the issue you can try to use AVS Video Converter.

If you select input video frame rate, frame size and bitrate parameters for the output, the loss of quality will not be seen.
You can do it by clicking on the Advanced button, where you can also check the parameters of the input video file.

Please let us know about the result.

Kind regards
