Hi!

I have few questions regarding the Video Editor features :

- I was wondering if there is a way to replace an
image by another (from the media pool) on the storyboard without
touching the transitions before and after and maintening
the original image duration.
So far I was only able to add the new image, delete the
old one and recreate the transitions and duration.

- I also want to apply a video effect only to a part of an image but
it doesn't seem possible : the idea is to zoom on a tv set, as the zoom
goes closer, apply the tv simulation effect only to the tv screen
(this is what I can't do) and then add a video on overlay into
the tv frame.

- I second the idea of keyframing a video effect (I saw this request a few posts
back) : i.e changing a video effect as the video goes by.

thanks in advance,

Hello,

Answering your questions:

- unfortunately, transitions will be also deleted when you delete images, as transitions supposed to fit certain image.

- you can adjust effect duration on Timeline moving its border or setting duration in properties (right click).

Regards.
