Note:
AVS Video Converter:
- I have had excellent results converting my video camera movies, on Windows (MPEG) to DVD movie. (DVD-RW).

Problem:
- I have several very small video camera movies (MPEG) stored on my hard drive.
- I would like to combine these small movies, into one (x1) (MPEG), then into one (x1) DVD video movie.
- Windows Movie Maker (Windows XP) will not combine the (MPEG) movies, together (Warning - Error - Size - Space).

Question:
How can I combine several small (MPEG) movies, together, into one (x1) DVD video movie - disk ?

Hello,

You can join several mpeg files into one quickly and easy with AVS Video ReMaker. It does the job without re-conversion. Here you can find the details how to do it. You will be able even to save the result as DVD and create a DVD menu.

Regards.

I used AVS Video ReMaker:

- I combined two (x2) small MPEG movies into one (x1) large MPEG movie.
- It is easy as one, two, three.
- The program works perfectly.
- I know have one (x1) large MPEG movie.
- The program is also FREE !

===============================

Then I used AVS Video Converter: --> "SAVE"
- Convert & Save a DVD Video.
- Everything = A.O.K.

===============================

When I used AVS Video Converter: --> "BURN"
- Convert & Burn to a DVD Video disk, directly.
- Everything = JUNK

Disk 1 (DVD-Video (D:)
many many = AUDIO_TS (Directories)
many many = VIDEO_TS (Directories)
No Files !

Why ? (Copywrite Protection) !

DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER:

- I am having excellent results combining short MPEG movies, together !
- I continue to burn combined MPEG movies, to a DVD Movie disk.

The DVD Movie disk contains a directory, to sub directory, to another sub directory, many many more, etc, each containing,
- Audio_TS
- VIDEO_TS
with no files ?

The DVD Movie disk, does work, but it is totally impossible to find the "working" directory !

Question:
Why does DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER list multiple "empty" directories and sub directories, endlessly ?

VIDEO_TS folder contain video files they are VOB or IFO.

Sorry, but your problem is not clear... Do you play resulted DVD on Video Recorder? Does not it play automatically?

AVS VIDEO CONVERTER
DVD VIDEO REMAKER[/IMG]

I now use both (x2) software programs to convert MPEG --> burn to DVD Video disk (Movie).
Yes, both (x2) software program do burn correctly.
Yes, the DVD disks work on my TV / DVD player. (A.O.K.)

================================================

This is where I was previously confused.
After I burnt my DVD disk, I used Windows Explore, to check for files.
When I search through my DVD Video disk (Movie), this is what I find.
See Below.

Hello Vlad:

I have a very powerful DVD (100% copy) software program.
I have two (x2) DVD Burners.

====================================

As stated before,

AVS VIDEO CONVERTER & DVD VIDEO REMAKER:

Downloads dozens and dozens of Sub Directories, over and over !!!!!
Because of the endless Sub Directories:

- Crashes my powerful DVD (100% copy) software program.
- Causes problems, when reading the DVD Disk
- Windows 'Search", unable to find file VIDEO_TS

==============================================

Conclusions:

I am starting to regret that I purchased AVS VIDEO CONVERTER.

To download (BURN) only two (x2) Directories:
- AUDIIO_TS
- VIDEO_TS
I use AVS VIDEO CONVERTER - OR - DVD VIDEO REMAKER:
- to complete my application
- I now save the project, to my Hard Drive
- AND -
- I now must use a separate software program, to BURN to --> DVD.

New & Updated: (Results)

==================================

My Results: (#1)
- As stated above, I used "custom" software and burnt my DVD Movies to a --> DVD Movie disk. DVD ( - ) RW .
- I reloaded the new burnt DVD Movie disk into my DVD drive.
- The DVD player went into "AutoPlay"
- I expected, Windows Media to find the files.
- I also expected Windows Media, to send me an error !
- Windows Media, did find the movie files and ALSO sent me the required "software" error !

==================================

My Results: (#2) Using:
AVS _VIDEO_ CONVERTER
DVD _VIDEO_ REMAKER.

- I reloaded the new burnt DVD Movie disk into my DVD drive.
- The DVD player --> Did "Not" go into "AutoPlay"
- Windows did 'Not" recognize the files.
- Windows Media, did "NOT" find "any" movie files.
- Windows, does "not" work with this software !

==================================

Conclusion:
AVS _VIDEO_ CONVERTER
DVD _VIDEO_ REMAKER.

- Windows Media does "NOT" read and / or recognize this software.

Windows Media is not a DVD player and it does not play DVD's if MPEG-2 decoder is not installed on your computer. To play DVD's on computer yo ushould install DVD player software, for example VLC player or Media Player Classic.

As for directories, our software creates standard dvd only with two directories AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.

Please find the information about DVD structure here.

It would be great if you attach a screenshot of what you have when viewing DVD disc in windows explorer.

- I know that Windows does "Not Read" --> AUDIO-TS and VIDEO-TS
- I know that Windows does "Yes Recognize" --> AUDIO-TS AND VIDEO-TS

- Windows Media will start up, stating an "Error".
- Windows Media, states that it can "not" play DVD Video.
- You have the option to get web help.
- You will be advised to purchase second (2nd) party software. Not Microsoft.

====================================

Sorry, but you are still missing the main point.
- Windows, is not my problem.
- AVS VIDEO CONVERTER and DVD VIDEO REMAKER --> are my problems.

Questions:
( AVS VIDEO CONVERTER and DVD VIDEO REMAKER ).

#1) Why does the two (x2) above software programs, dump dozens and dozens of "empty" sub directories ?

#2) Why can Windows "Search" not be able to find --> AUDIO-TS and VIDEO-TS, files ?

#3) Why can Windows "Not" even "recognize" or "read" a burnt DVD disk from this software ?

#4) Why do the two (x2) DVD burner software programs, that I have, will "not" recognize or burn copies ?

====================================

My Experiences:

- Burnt DVD disks, using this software, will "YES" work on a TV/DVD player.
- Burnt DVD disks, using this software, will "NOT" work on a computer.

- Burnt DVD disks, using "other" software, will "YES" work on a TV/DVD player.
- Burnt DVD disks, using "other" software, will "YES" " work on a computer.

====================================

Conclusion: (#1)
( AVS VIDEO CONVERTER and DVD VIDEO REMAKER ).

- Both (x2) software programs are excellent and easy to use, for converting.
- Both (x2) software programs do "Not" burn DVD disks, compatible with "any" Windows applications or software.

Conclusion: (#2)
(AVS VIDEO CONVERTER and DVD VIDEO REMAKER)

- Both (x2) software programs, should be updated with a "new" revision update, where only two (x2) directories, "again", two (x2) directories are burnt to DVD disk.
= AUDIO-TS (Empty).
= VIDEO-TS (9 Files).
- Both (x2) software programs, should be updated with a "new" revision update, where
"WINDOWS" will "recognize" and "read" a burnt DVD disk from this software ?

- Both (x2) software programs, should be updated with a "new" revision update, where
"OTHER" software programs, will "recognize" and "read" a burnt DVD disk from this software ?

I can assure you we will do our best to solve the problems in AVS Video Converter and AVS Video ReMaker.
But, you don't provide us information we request and we are not able to help. Once again our programs create standard DVD disc with just two directories AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS and files in them. No other directories and subdirectories will be burnt to disc by our software. If it is the case, please give as a screenshot of such directories view in windows explorer. Now you say the discs even not recognized by windows. Do you get any error message that the discs cannot be read?

Please kindly provide the details I'm asking, it will allow us to assist you.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards.

This is not normal. Our software have never created such discs. I can assure we will do our best to solve the problem. Please provide a screenshot of folder structure view in windows explorer. This will allow us to assist you further.

To make a screenshot, please,

- attach the image file to your message.

Kind regards.
