How do you create an overlay with a see-through effect? In other words I would like the image I am overlaying still visible from the
overlaying image.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no see-through effect in AVS Video Editor. I just can suggest you using Transparency option in AVS Video Editor. Here you can find the details about it.
