I WANTED TO DO 'CREDITS' AND SCROLL UP...BUT THE SPEED IS WAY TOO FAST...THERE IS STILL SPACE ON THE PIC SO THE TEXTS COULD GO MUCH SLOWER....THEY ARE WAY TOO FAST TO READ...I TRIED ADJUSTING THE SPEED IN THE 'PLAY BACK AND ALSO 'PAUSE WINDOW' BOTH IN THE 'EDIT TEXT FRAME AND ALSO ON THE PICTURE FRAME ....THIS IS REALLY MESSING ME UP ...PLEASE HELP!!....I ALSO TRIED TO EDIT THE 'DURATION ' OF TEXT BUT IT JUST JUMPS BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SPEED!!!...

ALSO....COULD YOU PLEASE OFFER MORE OPTIONS IN THE TEXT AREA....I LOVE YOUR PROGRAM AND ESP THE VIDEO EFFECTS AND TRANSITIONS ...SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM MUCH BETTER THAN WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER...HOWEVER WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER HAS YOU GUYS BEAT HANDS DOWN WHEN IT COMES TO TEXT EDITING...THEY HAVE SO MANY MORE 'OPTIONS'....NOW PERHAPS IM NOT UTILIZING ALL I CAN...OR EITHER NOT SURE HOW OR WHAT IM DOING...BUT I CANT GET IT TO DO WHAT I WANT ...WHICH IS SLOW DOWN WHEN SCROLLING THE CREDITS!!...

I appreciate your taking the time to offer us that feedback and encourage you to continue to let us know how we can improve our products.
The speed of the text overlay can be decreased by changin the duration (increasing) of the effect.
Following that link yoll find additional info about the effect.

I'm using scrolling text over video and I'm having an issue with the speed of scrolling.
Scrolling starts out at a readable pace, then halfway through the text (about 10 lines)
the speed of the scrolling increases to a point where one can not read the tesxt.

I couln't find anything in the HELP area that explains how to controll scrolling
speed. Can you please provide some instructions on how to change the
scrolling speed of text overlays?

Secondly, I want to use my own images for background, titles and need information
on how I can do that, again I was not able to find any information that talks about
this subject.

1) What file format is acceptable?
2) What resolution for images?
3) Is there a file size limit on images?
4) Where are the Title files located?
5) How can I do my own Animated Titles?

Answers to my questions, I believe will be great addition to your Help section.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of AVS Video Editor.

As mentioned in this discussion before, the speed of the text overlay can be decreased by increasing the duration of the effect.

AVS Video Editor supports most common image formats and you can load images of any resolution to the program. There is no file size limit on images.
The Tiltle files are embedded into the program files.
You can add your own text preset by modifying the existing one in the Text editing window and using "Export preset" function.
