Hello,
I'm using AVS Video Converter 7.0.1.449 but a month ago there is a permanent problem.
When I start to convert any video type to another one it starts normally but after various time in the coding process (usually 10min+) my PC automatically reboots itself.

I think this comes up since I use this version of the program and only a very small percent of the conversion project went through without that error.
I don't know if its about my ram or processor or myabe just a simple codec bug.

AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ 3.2GHz
4GB ram

Hope you have an idea.

sorry for writing in new posts all the time but can't find the Edit button somehow. :S

So I downloaded and tried out another program named Xilisoft MKV converter and it just does the same. After a while in coding my PC automatically reboots.

additional specs:
Gigabyte MA78GM-S2H motherboard
Gigabyte GeForce 9600 GT graphcard

I can remember that there wasn't any problem like this a few moths before. Could it be something about an external codec like in the K-Lite codec pack which I actually use?

Hello,

There seems to be the problem with your hardware. I would recommend you updating or reinstalling drivers for your motherboard and video card and also, change RAM slots.

Regards.
