Hey so I just converted some rmvb files to dvd using avs video converter. Problem is, when I later burned it into a dvd-dl with Nero, minor mini-lags occured on playback on my old Thomson dth 220(not divx compatible) dvd-player.
I tried to burn with different profiles PAL High Quality and PAL good Quality, but problem remained.
I'm using a DVD-double layer disc, could it be my dvd not handling these discs so well?
Or should I convert the rmvb files to avi then to dvd/ using avs video remaker instead?

Thanks for reply

Hello,

Sorry for the late response.

Please try playing resulted DVD on computer, not DVD player. Does the same problem persist?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

Sry, totally forgot about this post. Yes the DVD player on the comp is choppy as well on play back. I also noticed the converted product had the subtitles got out of synch. The PC got bad specs though: Intel Pentium 4 3.6GHz 1GB RAM , Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS(VDM), ASUS WDM TV/FM Tuner, hard to check which mobo.

Suggestion to upgrade the PC?

Regards

Hello,

Please try using the latest version AVS Video Converter 7.1.

If it does not solve the issue, please attach screenshot of your rmvb file properties (AVS Video Converter>Advanced), it will allow us to look into the issue further.

Best regards.

Gave it a try, and the progression succeeded! I guess the settings for a DVD conversion are non-editable? At least for me the fields are grayed out.

All DVD and BD presets have been made according to the formats specs, so they are non-editable.
The changes may cause playback problems on stand alone player.
