I'm trying to create a 5 second/20 FPS time lapse video from 100 .JPG images.

I've read that I need to use the "Speed" button in the Storyboard view.

There is no "Speed" button. The only buttons are "Duration" and "Color".

1. How do I get the "Speed" button to show?

2. Am I on the right track?

3. I there a tutorial on how to create a time lapse video like I'm trying to do?

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

Actually, Speed button is active only for videos. Speed of image cannot be adjusted, you can change only duration of the photo. The option to set frame rate will be avalaible when you produce your video to file. Click Advanced button and set bitrate you need.

I hope I've understood you correctly.

Best regards.

No matter what settings I use, all I produce is a slide show (several seconds per image), not a movie (20 images per second).

What settings do I need to use to produce a video?

Thanks

Just a thought - render the slide show as a video. Then start a new project and import your video. Adjust the play speed and see if that works. Then render the new video.

Hello,

It will look like a slideshow not a video file. As the speed of the image can't be changed. And the minimum duration of the image is 0.5 sec

Best regards.

Using the AVS Video Editor do the following:
create a new project
import media ( your photos)
under edit and settings, then the edit tab - under image/color chne the amount to 00:00.5 or 00:00.4
(this is how long it will display the photo)
then select all the photos and drop them to the edit field
then preview and prodcuce
