Hi guys

as I've said before, I'm really glad you've included Screen Capture in the latest version of Video Editor.

But the frame rate and audio settings seem to be constant (15 fps?), and can't be adjusted by the user.

I have looked for settings controls for these parameters, but can't find them. Do they exist?

I like to get the best possible quality in everything I do, and 15 fps isn't good enough.

best wishes

James

Hello James,

Unfortunately, the option to change video settings, such as fps, bitrate, etc is not avaliable in this version of AVS Screen Capture. I will forward your message as a suggestion to our developers to add such option to the next version of this application.

Best regards.

I must be a real dummy, but I can't find the screen capture option in the video editor menus. Every time I try to use "capture" the recording software activates, and I have no options there because everything is greyed out and the message says "no capture source" (like a TV tuner card or whatever). Can you help me?

Thanks,

Liz

Hello,

Please make sure that you have the latest version AVS Video Editor 5.1. Screen Capture option is avaliable only in it, see the screenshot attached.

I hope it helps.

Best regards.

Hi Vlad,

Coming up on a year now for video capture.
I really could use this feature as well to reduce size and editing needs.
I use the video capture to record my trading sessions, I only need 1 fps no audio so that I can play back my trades for analysis of what went wrong or right with a trade. Having to record two screens requires about 1.5 G/ an hour. After completion I can get this down to about 800 M and hour through conversion, but it causes undo waste of time and disk fragmentation.

Thanks
