I have got an iPod 30GB model# A1136 serial# Jq551bjatxk and am trying to convert some video files for it.

I have used the
"Apple iPod - (H.264, 320x240)" and
"Apple iPod - (MPEG4, 320x240)"
predefined formats for converting.

The result is that the music for the converted video files will play on the iPod, but not the video. Instead, the iPod will show a still image as a cover image only.

Any ideas on what may be going wrong? - I checked the Apple support web site on their legacy products and the web site says that the videos should play.

If anyone has experience with it, pleas let me know. Thank You!

Try to playback the converted video on your PC players before uploading it to your device (by default the converted video is saved in My Documents - My Videos), inform if it can be played without any problems.
Specify the format and origin of the file you are using for convertion.

Could you tell me exactly how I can convert a blu-ray disc to an iphone or mp4 format.
I tried to use the "Video Converter" and found a "Stream" file which contains .m2ts modules.
However, when I try to select any of those modules I get a "file format" error message and cannot continue further.
Additionally, I also converted a dvd to mp4, but it turns out that the last of the 4 chapters of that dvd turns up first on the mp4 file; how can this be fixed or overcome?
Lastly, I am not able to send you the files, mainly because the bluray files weighs more tha 30 Gbytes; rar will not accept it.
Hoping to hear from you soon, I remain
