Disc error

Hi. I have been creating DVDs from AVI files and it seems like I get a "disc error" when I try to play them about 20% of the time. It seems like this happens for particular files. I have tried to repeat the process on these and the error repeats. I was tryinbg to create a DVD from 4 files and got this same error. It's very frustrating as I would have to spend a lot of time and effort to determine which files were causing the problem. I am just wondering if anyone else was having this problem and if you know of a fix or at least what I can do to investigate further.
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
Could you please specify with what AVS program do you create your DVD's and where are you trying to play them? Also, please inform us about the model of your burner and the brand and type of your blank discs.
Regards.
