Hi, I am a beginner and would like to test how AVS Video Converter 6 creates a DVD file I can play with my DVD player.

So far
- I have created an encoded DVD file starting from my DivX file, profiles used are DVD NTSC High Quality HQ 108min at 1 DVD and DVD PAL High Quality HQ 108min at 1 DVD
- Successfully done even with the not activated release
- Successfully burned on a DVD disc (one per disc) with CDBurnerXP 4
- Hovewer they don't work on my Sony DVD Player NS305, simply don't start - they run very well with InterVideo WinDVD on my pc but not on my television with my DVD player :-(

Is because the non-activated release?
is because the High Quality?
What else?

Actually I would like to be sure I can create DVD encoded copies I can play with my DVD player, before buying the licence, can anyone suggest what to do, pls?

Thank you.

Cheers,
Alessandro

Hello,

alessandro712000:
Is because the non-activated release?

No, the non-activated version is totally functional

alessandro712000:
is because the High Quality?

I don't think so.

alessandro712...:
they run very well with InterVideo WinDVD on my pc

That means that the conversion and burning were successfull, so, that is not an AVS software issue.

Please make sure, that the discs, you used to burn your movie on are compatible with your DVD player, whether they are detected by your player etc...

Best Regards
