Limited knowlage with this so please bear with me!
What is possible please with the programs I have purchased? Can I rip comerical films and edit scenes as required?
Or am I only able to Copy the film from DVD to my PC hardrive?

I have some films which I have down loaded from the Net, but when I transfer the film to the editor program there is only the inital 5 sec opening sequence which shows. There seems to be no access to the main film chapers?

Surely you can edit the non-protected movies using AVS Video Editor, not only save or convert them.

In AVS Video Editor, in case your movie contains multiple titles (if this is a DVD) you can select the title you would like to edit. Open VIDEO_TS.IFO in the program, right-click this file and open Properties. Here you can set the Track Number.
