I get standard Windows error message: Windows has discovered a problem and is shutting down the program, etc
I tried uninstall/reinstall on audio editor with no luck.

To follow up, I have tried uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling, to no avail. I have other AVS products (video editor, rigntone maker, etc) which DO work Any ideas?

Make sure you are using the latest versions of these programs (AVS Video Converter 6.3.1.367, AVS Audio Editor 4.2.1.107). You can update them following Start > Programs > AVS Update Manager.

Do you get the error upon opening the programs? Every time you open them? If you get this error when using the software, please decribe your actions step by step.

Additionally, attach your PC configuration.
