When I save a video using the "Sony PS3 - Normal HD Quality 480p - (H.264, 29.97fps, 848x480)" Profile, the resulting video won't play on my PS3 which has the latest System Software (Version 2.80). The PS3 returns the message "The data is corrupted."

The prior version of Video Editor (4.1) worked fine in that videos created using the same profile on that version continue to play on my PS3 just fine.

Could you send us one of the output files (the smallest one) that you cannot play on your Sony PS3. This would help us to clear up the problem. I'll send you the instruction on the support page.

Thank you

Nadin,

I am eagerly awaiting your instructions on the support page.

I zipped one of the test videos but it's still 121MB.

Even without your instructions, I tried to upload in a message on the support page but, even though I get the "Uploading" after going through the "Browse" button, it won't let me send the message - the "Submit" button doesn't seem to work.

I don't suppose it'd be possible for me to send it to you as an email attachment?

Attached is a five-second video.

I rendered it using AVS Video Editor 4.2.1.166 o using the "Sony PS3 - Normal HD Quality 480p - (H.264, 29.97fps, 848x480)" Profile, the resulting video won't play on my PS3 which has the latest System Software (Version 2.80). The PS3 returns the message "The data is corrupted."

Thank you for the file. Our developers have found the bug. It will be fixed within the next update we are planning to release as soon as the appropriate testing is done. That'd be great if you waited for the update.

Best regards
