When I wont to do update, manager write "you do not need update your programs"
Why do not download updates?

OS: Windows7 64bit Build.7229

1. I installed you All software in 1 package.(have AVS4YOU programs all live license)
2. Open AVS4YOU software Navigator
3. Push "Check for Updates"
4. Got windows "AVS Update Manager 1.0.0.129" 2.08MB
5. Push "Download and Install"
6. After 2 minutes got windows "Information" with text:
"You must install updates for AVS Update program first. After the application will restart, and you be able install other updates"
7. Push "OK"
8. And got repeat at item 4. It is cycle without end.

Perhaps understand me. I can not update programs.
PS. What is better - instal package all in 1, or instal all programs seperately?
Thanks

All AVS4YOU Software in 1 Installation Package has not been updated yet, so please download AVS Video Editor 4.2 separately from our website. The new AVS Update Manager will get installed with the new version of the software.

Best regards

Please find the latest version of AVS Update Manager attached.
You need to save it to C:\Program Files\AVS4YOU\AVSUpdateManager (replace the file).

Please inform me whether this solves the problem

Does anyone know where the downloaded files that the auto-updater uses are saved to? I just updated the Video recorder and the Video editor by using the update manager. The "Download and Install" process worked fine, but I can't find the actual setup files anywhere so that I can back them up.

They're not in my WinXP downloads folder. Surely I don't have to download them manually now that they're already downloaded and installed!?

Hello,

Actually, AVS Update Manager does not save distrib files of updates on your computer after updating. If you wish to have distrib files of the latest versions of AVS program, you can download them from our Download page.

I get the same loop that Sigbart spoke of.
Does the AVSUpdatemanager (1.0.2.148) not work in my windows 7 environment?
Does that mean that for all AVS programs, I should manually compare my installed version with that on the AVS website?
