Hello,
I have problem with repeated playing converted video (from AVI to MPG) in Windows Media Player (further WMP):
1) After conversion and after Windows XP restarting video plays well (movie, sound and consumed time pointer).
2) After re-launching WMP this program loads some new codec from Internet and movie plays well, sound doesn't go and consumed time pointer doesn't work properly. Playing doesn't continue after its manual moving forward or back. Playing is "frozen".
3) Third launching WMP doesn't succeed. It is necessary to restart Windows XP and to close DDE Server Windows manually.
After Windows restarting it is possible to play converted MPG video again properly.

Best Regards

We would advise you to try playing the converted files using AVS Media Player. In case the files are played correctly, this must be WMP problem, so you can try updating the program or contact Microsoft support service for the further information.

Best regards

You are right. In the AVS Media Player it is possible to play converted videos correctly and repeatedly. As for WMP I can wait for some of future updates issued by Microsoft.

Thank you very much for your advice.
