My registration period has not expired yet, why do I get 'license expired' error? |
There might be a couple of reasons why you get this error. Please use the following recommendations:
1. Check date and time settings on your personal computer. Make sure they are set correctly.
2. Make sure the programs do not run in compatibility with the previous version of the operational system which is currently installed on your PC. For that, follow C:\Program Files\AVS4YOU\AVSVideoConverter*, right-click AVSVideoConverter.exe and open Properties. Here under Compatibility tab make sure that NO options are chosen in Compatibility Mode field.
3. Follow to C:\Program Files\AVS4YOU\*, right-click Registration.exe > Properties and make sure that no options are chosen in Compatibility Mode here as well.
4. Delete all the files from the following folder:
(for XP) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVS4YOU\Licence
(for Vista and Windows 7) C:\ProgramData\AVS4YOU\Licence
Then activate the software once again using your license key following Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > Activation.

*Note, in case you use a 64-bit operational system the directory will be as follows:
C:\Program Files(x86)\AVS4YOU
