Hello. I am a Windows user and received videos from a Mac user. They were originally AAC mono, 16,000 khz, H264, 1575 x 886, millions. 5.13 fps, data rate 144.45 kbit/sec.
FIrst, I had to convert from this Apple MP4 to a WIndows format that I could edit. I used AVS to convert from MP4 to AVI, and video settings are now framerate 4.97 fps, bitrate 5462.581 kbps, IBM Motion JPEG. Audio settings: 2 channels, sample rate 32 khz, bitrate 256 kbps, codec MP3.
I cut out sections of the video in AVS, then produced it as: AVI H.264/AVC, 1200 kbps, Audio: MP3, 192 kbps.
The video is fine, but static is now present throughout the video. Like a periodic clicking noise every few seconds. At first I thought it was interference from my small electric room heater, but when I turned it off and reproduced the video, same issue.
What settings would you recommend that will not introduce this poor audio when I produce my edited video again?
Thanks for your help.
