I have recently downloaded /purchased the AVS video Converter . I am trying to convert the MPEG to Divx format during this conversion my machine CPU goes to 100% and then it dies of suddenly. I then re-installed the software but the problem still persisted. For the 3rd time I made sure that no other applications is running behind, but still it was going to 100% but when I pause this conversion It comes back to normal i.e to 4%. If I start again then it immediately shoots up to 100%.

My Machine Specs is
Acer Machine
2 duo core processor T5500.(1.67GHZ)
2 GB RAM, 120 GB HDD.
My HDD is used up to 85 GB.

Can you pls let me know why this software makes my machine crashing oftenly. *SOS*

Hello,

rama23:
during this conversion my machine CPU goes to 100%

Please try to change the Conversion Priority so you could do some other work on your computer while the conversion process takes place.
For that press Pause button during the conversion >> Conversion Priority and set the one that suits you.

Best Regards.
