I have been using AVS4YOU for many years (almost 10), and after I installed it for the first time, under the "Media Library" tab I used to have a palette of color backgrounds that I could use e.g. at the beginning or at the end (on fade-in fade-out) of the video. After reinstalling the product once, I lost the line item that provides these. Now I only have a line there that says "Current Project". How do I load the backgrounds back?

Dear Zdenek,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it.

2. Download and install the latest versions of the necessary programs from our website.

Please inform about the result.

Kind regards

Hi, Nat. I have not find the time to reinstall the product, but meanwhile I had to work on some simple videos, and cannot help but asking if you are a part of the developer team. I use the editor very seldom, so it is not a pressing issue, but from the very beginning, the product seemed buggy. That bothers me, also because I paid good money for it. There are at least two classes of problems: (1) crashes, at the least opportune moments, e.g. after I spent a half an hour editing something, and then the program crashed on "Save Project". (2) there are annoying quirks, like very unpredictable jumps(of the timeline pointer) in the timeline, mostly to the beginning of the video I am editing. For seemingly no reason. There is more, but maybe you are not the person to ask this.

AVS concept is a good idea combine any aspects of editing and converting in a few packages or as a whole. The problem is the software is very buggy and when you need support its days and weeks. And then they ask you silly things like rebooting your PC or reinstalling software. Thats their go to reinstall. The price is good but the product is just ok. Id give it 2.5 stars as the support is at times rude and condescending. 8 Ball Pool

Update: This company should be investigated for fraud, claiming and unlimited product use. Google Hangouts The claim its not valid on a New Pc, but their own updates make the OS and software obsolete. I had the same HD and the same video and sound card only a new motherboard and they socked me with another 60.00 to use a 6 month old product. Omegle I had the product 6 months and mt MB died, they could careless. But as noted they set you up to eventually not be able to use their software on your machine by making update that create incompatibility.
