Hello,

Whenever I try to open a document (pdf mostly, docx) - I keep getting this Error:

:

Invalid File(s) path or name(s)

However - I was able to open ONCE - after installation - and then it stops, whatever....

I have used it at earlier times - and it was working - but I had to re-install my Windows since....

At first I installed and got this error with an older version of AVS Document Converter I had - 2.4 - and got this error, then - I downloaded and installed the latest fresh version - and I was able to open PDF - Once, and then - Error, Error....

What to do now?!

After more testing, I think I got a clue:

It seems it gives: Invalid File name/path

- When it finds Non-English characters in Folder/File Name - is it true?!

Some folders use Latvian language ē, ū, ī

Some Filenames - are in Russian;

= those cannot open, but some English only names - I can open now...

Dear user,

In order to import files with Latvian or Russian name, you need to set the region settings for non unicord programs in Winodws control panel to Latvian or Russian.

Otherwise, please import files with Latin syllables or numerls in the name of the file.
