I am creating a movie with stills in between the movie in the DVD format 720 by 480. My photos are 10 megapixels. My movies are 1280 by 720. In the AVS movie editing program everything is converted to the DVD format of 720 by 480. The movies come out reasonably well though obviously less quality than 1280 by 720. The photos come out trashy, choppy and distorted, not even looking like a photo but more like a Vincent Van Gogh painting.

Surely someone somewhere must have created a slide show or movie with photos in the DVD format. Could someone explain how to get photos to appear reasonably good at at the DVD format of 720 by 480 on your TV screen or is that just going to be impossible.

My TV screen is 32 inches which is 16 inches from top to bottom and about 27 inches wide.

Hi!

I'd recommend you to save your project as AVI file first with Video for presentation 1080p profile >> then, if you need DVD Video, you may convert the resulting AVI file to DVD using AVS Video Converter 9.1.
