Hello,

I try AVS 7 editor (last version) before purchase.

It's a very good software, easy and performance.

But I have a problem when I cut mp3 file with fade out.

At end of track MP3, when the sound decrease, once the volume is set to 0, we hear for one or two second the original mp3 track, which produces a disagreeable noise.

I have not managed to correct the problem that happens every time.

what solution to fix this bug ?

Thank You :-)

PS : Sorry if my English is not very good ;-)

Dear user,

To avoid the problem please try to do the following: zoom in your project at maximum and make sure your audio file do not have volume increase at the end - see the screenshot attached. Please try to change the position of an audio point at the end: when the mouse cursor is located over a point, you will see it change from an arrow to a rhombus. Try to drag the rhombus to the end - see the screenshot "AudioSelect".

Please also try to cut a small part of the audio at the end (a second or two) by using the Split and Delete buttons and inform if you get any sound.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

Hello Nat,

Thank you for your answer.

I already try to do what you say , but I still have the same problem.

It happens that sometimes it starts to work, but I do not know why.

Most of the time , there remains a residual noise when cutting , which is downright rude.

I 'm surprised that noboby report this problem.

I have installed AVS on 2 PC and I have the same result.

The audio cut generated noise at the end.

Thank you

Hello Nat,

It is not worth while sending you an example , the problem is also in the sample project of AVS 7.

Listen the end of the last track, there is a noise on cut at 3mn10sec.

If this problem is in your sample project, it is a concern.

The problème come when we cut mp3 track and apply fade out.

You can try several time, 8 times on 10 there will be a problem.

Thank you and have good day.

Dear user,

We'd greatly appreciate if you could help us the resovle the issue and provide your project file.

Could you please try to use an experimental .exe file generated by our developers and inform if it improved the situation:

I encountered something similar a while ago. My solution was to edit the audio in xxx and export to a processed MP3 file, then make no changes to the audio in AVS Video Editor.

It seemed to have about 20 ms of audio stuck to the end of every clip. My theory was that it might have something to do with the video clipping - I'd tell it to cut off video at time X, which might not line up perfectly with a frame, and perhaps the audio didn't cut off at exactly the same point for that reason. (Just the fade applied to the audio, resulting in the volume rising right at the end, just beyond that point.)

Just my theory based on what I observed. Definitely a software bug if that's what causes it.

I was working with 29.97fps video at the time.

Oh, lol, xxx got censored. It's not even competing software - just freeware on sourceforge.

A fix for that audio glitch would certainly simplify my workflow.
