I am trying to convert my old VHS tapes to digital with AVerMedia DVD EZMaker7 and using your excellent software AVS Video Recorder.
In my part of the world, i need to set Video Standard to PAL_60. But after i go to the Settings-Video Standard- and choose PAL_60,
it goes back to NTSC_M instantly. In NTSC_M the picture is black and white. I have tried this repeatedly. I am using Windows7 on Lenovo Z-570.
Why is it happening? How can my selection of PAL_60 will stay at least for the duration of recording?
Thank you for reading this.

Dear Subrang,

Please try to follow the recomendations below:
- shut down your PC;
- disconnect your device and connect it anew;
- restart your PC;
- update drivers for your device downloading them from the website of the manufacturer;
- please download and install the latest version of our capture program from the link below:
http://download.avs4you.net/distributives/AVSVideoRecorder.exe
- try to record video with AVS Video Recorder once again.

What format you capture video - Recommended, Native or MPEG-2?, try to change it and inform about the result.

Make sure you have chosen the correct color standard on your device.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

Just a quick one please. How do we double check this? Is there an example?
