Each time I change the speed of a specific clip in a video, I end up getting an error message "access violation at address 77594660 in module OLEAUT32.DLL". I've tried shutting AVS Video Editor down, and even started a new video, and I still get the same issue just about every time. My version is 6.3.2.234. Attached is a screenshot of the error message.

Thanks!

Dear user,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

3. Download and install the latest version of AVS Video Editor from our website:
http://avs4you.com/downloads.aspx

Then try to use the program and inform about the result.

Best regards.

It seems to work, but now I can't find my existing screen captures anywhere. All my original data is missing. I've tried to search the PC with no luck. Where are the screen capture images/videos stored? My project was just about complete, so I'm hoping to get them back...

Same goes for all my other projects. I've searched under program files > users > (my computer) > AppData > Local (and also Roaming) and can't find the screen captures. I don't recall changing them from the default path, so am I looking in the wrong place? I'd hate to have to recreate all my work again.

Dear user,

Please check the folder C:\Users\[User Account]\AppData\Roaming\AVS4YOU\AVSVideoEditor\Temp
for the videos captured in AVS Screen Capture.

Should you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards
