Why does AVS DVD Copy always shrink the disk even when it's not necessary. If I make a copy of a disk that is 3.91 GB it shrinks to 3.76 GB. If I make a copy of that it shrinks it to 3.61 GB. Blank DVDs are 4.7 GB so I don't understand why the original would have to be shrunk when its already under 4 GB.

Dear User,

Please try to provide some additional information about the problem so we could resolve it:
- specify the version of AVS DVD Copy you use,
- specify what settings you select while copying the disk.

Try to use AVS Disk Creator to copy your disk, do you get any issue?

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

I think there is a slight change when burning it but if the quality didn't suffer, I would mind the file size though.

Dear user,

You can use the DVD burning option in AVS Disk Creator to copy disks without shrinking and quality loss.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards
