Had a question about the AVS Video Editor.

Are blend modes (such as Add/Subtract/Difference etc.) available for overlay videos? This seems like a very basic function that most video editors usually have, but I can't find it.

If there aren't any it would seem like a very useful thing to add.

Hello,
Unfortunately there are no blend modes available in AVS Video Editor.
However, we would like to thank you for the suggestion.
We will pass on the feature you are requesting to our development team for consideration to be potentially included in our future releases.

You can find information on editing video overlay in AVS Video Editor here.

Best regards

Sure hope so, since it seems the code to do it is already available in the Glow and Soft Glow effect. Would be useful for overlaying fireworks and such where using the chroma key doesn't look too good.
