I have some videos encoded with Adobe Live Media Encoder using an AAC audio codec and am trying to edit them after they are encoded. The file format is f4v. If I change the file type from f4v to mpg, I can edit them on a Mac, but not on the PC running windows 7.
I'm getting a "file format error" when I try to import media into the video editor program. It doesn't work whether it's an f4v or after I change the file extension to mpg.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Have you also tried out files with the same format as f4v? Try to see if it makes any difference.
