Just downloaded Version 7.0.3.422 last week. I cannot load anything into the program, as I immediately receive an Abnormal Program Termination prompt which closes the program immediately. I have run the AVS Repair, but nothing has changed.

Do I have a corrupted program and need to download it again?

Sorry..this is Version 7.0.3.422 of the AVS Audio Editor. Would have been nice if I would have included that in the first place.

Downloaded and reinstalled program...works like a charm!

Audio Editor - Abnormal program termination

I've installed it, de-installed it, re-installed it, de-installed it, re-downloaded it, re-installed it, repeat repeat repeat.

It accepts the activation key, but every time I try to launch it, I get runtime error "abnormal program termination"

I'm running Windows 7 with 24 GB of memory.

Help!

I continue to get an "abnormal program termination" using Audio Editor. I've repaired it, with all "success". I've re-installed it, I've removed it and re-downloaded it, nothing works, and the "Support Form" is useless, I've gotten zero response for days.

We are sorry for the delay in reply and all the inconvenices caused.

Please unzip the file in the attachment and save it to the program folder: C:\Program Files\AVS4YOU\AVSAudioEditor

Then run the file by double clicking on it and wait till the error message appears.

After that find the .log files that contain the description of the problem, they are located in:
XP
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\AVS4YOU\AVSAudioEditor

Vista, Windows7
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\AVS4YOU\AVSAudioEditor

Attach them here please.

I had this once actually and it was caused by my security software. I was able to to isolate the issue by disabling it.
