THe same goes any ANY and ALL programs that I downloaded from this site. I have been charged $39.00 for this and have not had a response from AVS4U support in TWO days. Hello,

Please, first follow:
Start>> Control Panel>> Add or Remove Programs and in the currently Installed Programs list check whether
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable is installed (see the attachment).

So, if it is installed, please
1. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
2. Install one of the AVS software and Microsoft Visual C++ will appear in the Installed Programs list

If it is not installed:
1. Install one of the AVS software and Microsoft Visual C++ will appear in the Installed Programs list

Next follow Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Repair and inform us about the results.

The fact is, that Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable is indispensable for the proper functionning of the AVS programs.

Hope to hear from you soon.

I have spent days on trying to get the AVS programs to work on my computer and have tried everything that has been requested of me by your support services. I have uninstalled the AVS programs, I have removed every and all entries of avs4you in my windows registry. I have deleted the Microsoft Visual C+++ Redistributable 6 times today. Have tried to open your Video COnverter 6 and get the same error. Class Not Registered. When I run the repair program, I get 8 .dll files that are registered. All the others CANNOT be repaired. See attached files on this post and the next post.

Please....at this time....I have exhausted all efforts to get your programs to work on my computer and was really looking forward to a great deal with some great video and audio programs, however, None of them will work on my computer.

I am requesting, begging for a refund of my $39.00. Please do this for me as I have tried to do everything possible to resolve this unfortunate issue..

Sincerely,

Terri Moore

Hello Terri,

Sorry indeed for the inconvenience occurred.

For the proper functionning of the software you have to have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable installed on your PC.

Please, check your e-mail for the refund information.

I am also having the class not registered problem...I followed the instructions from earlier posts:
- uninstalled c++2005 Redistrubable and then reinstalled an AVS program
- c++2005 did reappear as an installed program
-I ran the repair and only 2 Dlls showed up in red...AVSISOParser.dll and AVSMobileDeviseActiveSync.dll

I reran Video Editor 4 and received the same class not registered error msg

the class not registered is AFDED1BC-1084-404d-91af-2a9a7677dea2

I installed all programs and registered two days ago

Do you have VE4 only?
Current Version 4.2.1.165
Any other avs4you software installed?
Specify your OS

I have the entire suite installed. I am using the latest version of VE4 as I just installed three days ago. I verified that it is 4.2.1.166.

I installed AVS on my tower running Vista Ultimate. When I received the errors noted I tried installing in another partitiion under Windows 7 RC. I got the same result. Then tried installing on my laptop under Windows Vista Home Premium. Everything worked on my laptip! (I am aware of one license per computer and only reinstalled multiple tmes to diagnose the error. I will uninstall and only use one copy when this is resolved).

I also posted the problem on the support site and received the response copied below from Maria. I am now away for 2 weeks and won't be alble to test the suggested solution until I return.

I'm not hopeful about the proposed solution below in that as noted above I reinstalled a fresh copy of the software in my other partition and received the same errors. If you have additional ideas please share.
Thanks!
Charlie

There may be some problems until comercial version of Windows 7 will be released (as soon as it will be released, all software will be tested in full)
But it has to work on Vista...
Specify config of your Tower.
Delete the software completely following the instruction sent by support manager and fresh install.
But install AVS Video Converter (not Editor)

I have an open (for three days with no responses yet) support request on the same problem, occurring on two different systems, but only if the output to DVD option is chosen. The same class is reported as missing.

FWIW, Repair shows only AVSISOParser.dll as a problem ("Can't load library").

Tower is Pentium 4...3.2ghz...running Vista Ultimate (Vista 7 in a second partition)....2 gb memory...asus motherboard p4c800-e.

I don't understand your request to install video converter??? My problem is with video editor 4 and I have been installing the entire suite. Please clarify your request for me to install video converter. Do you want me to try that alone? Then if it works what should I do???

I've read Peter's reply below...my problem with video editor also occurs when I ask to create a dvd...I didn't try creatiing other formats. FYI..When I ran the repair my problem was also with AVSISOParser.dll.

AVSISOParsel.dll usually goes with AVS Disc Creator program. Do you have it installed?

Also, could you please specify the format of the files you are trying to convert and their origin to DVD?

Yes I have Disc Creator installed (as I said previously I have the entire suite installed). I haven't tried to run Disc Creator but I did try to run DVD Authoring and received an error message saying that the integration was corrupted.

My files are mpg captured from vhs tapes.

Download AVS Video Editor from the link below:

Now install the program anew on your PC. Please do not install any other AVS programs. Try to repeat the error.

I am having the same problem. I re-installed the software after deleting the registry entries. In the latest version of AVS Video Editor, when I go to the "save movie" section, I get the first screen, choose the top "high quality DVD" type to burn to, then when I hit "Next" i see a circle animation in the center of the screen and get the following error which locks-up the program: "Class not registered, classid: {AFDED1BC-1084-404D-91AF-2A9A7677DEA2}". My AVS package is all updated as of 7/31/2009. I use Windows XP Pro with all the latest updates. The PC has no other issues and I am an IT professional.

After running the Repair, there are TWO items in red "Can't load library" as follows:
AVSISOParser.dll
AVSMobileDevice2ActiveSync.dll

These files exist in the directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\AVSMedia\ActiveX

Could this have to do with a service? I have attached a list of my MS services that are running (tab delimited TXT file).

Our developers tried to fix the problem in AVSVideoXmlDVDMenu.dll

To solve the problem please download and save the attached file in the directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\AVSMedia\ActiveX. Then run repaire procedure from Start>All Programs>AVS4YOU>Repair.

Please inform us about the results.

(The .dll has been deleted, as it has been included into the latest update. Update AVS files following Start > Programs > AVS4YOU > AVS Update Manager)
