Hi

I am using version 2.0.1.3

I want to print multiple copies of DVD disk labels and covers, but I can't see anywhere to select multiple copies in the Print dialogue box.

I also use Pressit DVD & CD labels which have 2 labels per sheet, however your template only shows one.

Thanks for any feedback

Hello,

Which printer do you use?

Number of copies option should be avaliable in printer settings (see the screenshot attached).

Regards.

It's a Dell 3130CN colour laser.

My first thought as well, however setting the value in the Printer Settings did not result in printing more than one copy.

I don't think I have seen any software with a print dialogue box which doesn't allow the user to set the number of copies you can print. I think your developers have missed this one!

OK tried changing the number of copy options again in printer settings, this time it did work, however not ideal as it isn't the normal method of setting the number of copies and you have to remember to go back and reset it to 1 copy when you have finished printing so that you don't end up printing out unnecessary copies next time you print with "standard" software.

It also doesn't resolve the problem of the Pressit disk labels which are supplied 2 up on an A4 sheet and only prints to one of them, so you have to remove the sheets and turn them round to use the second label.

Small details which spoil a very good piece of software.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply.

I'm glad that you have found out how to set number of copies. All printing sittings depends on printer itself, not in our program.

Therefore, printing disk labels 2 up on A4 sheet also depends on printer. Is your printer capable to turn over the sheet automatically during printing?

Regards.

I have tried every possible way to print disc covers using this software, after creating the design and choosing printer and layout etc,the program will not comunicate with the printer. There is nothing wrong with my printer,it prints disc covers successfully using other software eg; Greeting Card Factory etc;so there is an issue with the configuration of AVS Cover Editor,it is definately a software problem,so is there a solution? uninstalling and removing it from the registry etc and re-installing does not solve the problem.

Hello,

Were you always unable to print disc covers with AVS Cover Editor or it just has broken down? Are you able to open Settings dialog with printer settings?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

It works for me, though sometimes it prints crazy like it scrambles the whole image. But this only happened twice.

cover editor is not printing. When I bring up the print icon, defaults to image writer - change to my printer but that should be the default - still want to print output to file rather than actual print job
Keeps bringing up Output File Name when job is already open; so I humor it and input a file name and it acts like and states it is printing, and instead saves file which i cannot print
please help today so I may finish my projects! Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes our software defaults to image writer. Sorry if it may be for the inconvenience.

To avoid the problem please completele reinstall AVS Software using the instructions here.

Download and install the latest version of AVS Cover Editor.

Try printing your image again.

I hope it helps.

Regards.

I had this problem once, the only difference is that the problem was coming from my printer and not from this software. Cheers.
