These are generally large files ie over 20gb. I have also tried using AnyDVD and copy file to HDD first then convert to AVI or Mpeg but get same result. I have AVS Version 6.4.2.417

I have done quite a few BD discs but this is a persistant little bug. I have 3 copied to HDD for conversion but no matter what the format it wont complete the job. Starts out saying it will take around 5hrs but that changes to 7 - 8hrs before finally stopping. Please what is the issue here?

Hello,

Speed of conversion depends also on PC configuration. Could you please specify your Operating system, CPU, Ram, free space on HDD.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards.

Same thing here:

My hardware/software config is as follows: an Asus P6T with a Core i7 920 (D0 stepping but not overclocked), 12Gb Corsair DDR3, RAID 0 drives with a few hundred Gig of space, Windows 7 Pro 64 bit build 7600, AVSVC 6.4.3.419, AnyDVD HD 6.6.4.2. All software is legit and registered.

I have ripped my BDs to the desktop using AnyDVD then mounted the image to Virtual Clone Drive. With the rips, I have tried "Keep protection" mode and unchecking protected mode in AnyDVD.

I am trying to convert to MKV. The AVSVC program indicates an approximate 7 hour conversion, then quits about 5 hours into the conversion, at around 82%. The settings I am using are Preset "HD Video 1080p", but with the bitrate reduces from 9000 to 4500 to keep the end file size down to something reasonable.

Hello,

Thank you for the details provided and sorry for the delayed response.

To avoid the problem please try converting your BD movies in single-thread mode. You can select it Setting>Proceesing option of AVS Video Converter. Also, please open Enviroment section in Setting of AVS Video Converter and find the Temp directory. Please specify how much free storage space do you have in selected folder.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards.
