Hello! I have a video which I am trying to convert in order to play on a wide screen montior. The computer is Windows 7 Home, I am using Media Player and have a black border on the left and right sides of the screen?

I have tried to convert numerous ways and still have the same problem, either border all the way around or left and right?

Any ideas please?

The video file is on a DVD that indicates it is a Video_TS file and I converted to .WMV 1080 and 720 both I still have the same problem.

I copied file to desk top and then converted.

I am having a very hard time in getting converted to a file that will play full screen on Media Player.

Thanks

Thanks for the details.

We need some further info to assist you.

What is the aspect ratio of your DVD video file? Is it 4:3 or 16:9? Please see the info following Advanced>File Information tab when you open the file in AVS Video Converter.

Thank you for the screenshot provided.

To get rid of black borders, please follow Advanced>>Aspect Correction tab and use Crop Scale option in it. Please note that video aspect should be set Original or 4:3.

Here you can find the details how to use Crop Scale feature.
