Hi,
I bought a second license of AVS for my son this month; unfortunatelly he can't use it !
if we import a mp3 file in AVS Video Editor, we can ear it in the "preview windows" at the right of the software interface without any problem,
But if we drag and drop this file on the time line, on the mixed audio line, we can ear it, even if we do a right clic and start the audio utility !
We can see on the wave representing the music that is in the file, but we can ear anything, even if we make an output video file.
I tried uninstall the newest version and re-installed the preview version i have me, on my computer, but it's the same problem.

Help us please, we can use the last version I had pay for !

Dear user,

To avoid the problem please completely reinstall AVS4YOU software following the instructions below:

1. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it.

2. Download and install the latest versions of the necessary programs from our website.

Inform about the result please.

Kind regards

Dear user,

Do you have the same problem with all the audio files you use?

Please attach the .mp3 file to your next message, so we could analyse the problem.

Thank you for cooperation.

Yes I have the same problem with all the mp3 files I use on my son's PC.
I join to this mail a mp3 file that doesn't work on his PC, but work very well on mine, like all other.

It's very look like the line "Mixed audio" isn't really active......

If I import the file in AVS Video Editor, and select the picture representing the audio file in the "active project" windows,
and then clic the play button, it's sound well.
But if I drag this picture representing the audio file on the line "mixed audio", I could see the "waves" représenting the music,
but if clic the play button, (or right clic on the mixed audio line and selection "audio", and clic play), there is no sound.
And it's the same thing if I compile a new video file, all is well except there's not the music I put on the mixed audio....

Thanks for your suggestions

Dear user,

Thank you for the file.

Do you have any problem with playback of audio file on AVS Media Player?

Please try to reinstall your audio and video card drivers.

Also try to repair AVS files:

1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.
2. Copy the following link to the address bar of My computer window and press <Enter>:

If you run 32bit PC: %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe
If you run 64bit PC: %COMMONPROGRAMFILES(x86)%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe

If some of the .dlls are not registered, please make a screenshot of the Repair window showing those files and send it to us.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

You can try to uninstall all AVS4YOU programs and "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable - x86 8.0.61001" , then install AVS Video Editor and check Repairing.

In this case, you need the special set of our libraries unbound from VCRedist. We will prepare this patch for you...
